Symoné Miller
Symoné Miller is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in psychotherapy with adults and the geriatric population. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Children, Family, and Youth. She then received her Masters of Social Service at Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research with the following focuses: Adult Development and Aging along with Children and Adolescents.
Symoné obtained a postgraduate certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in 2014. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Workers (PSCSW). As a social worker and therapist, Symoné is able to provide a unique perspective into psycho-social stressors while having a commitment to social change and equality.
She is dedicated to incorporating families into treatment to begin a lifelong recovery process. Symoné is employed by a managed care insurance company that provides mental health and substance abuse treatment. She is also the owner and founder of Expanding Your Horizons, LLC that specializes in therapy and clinical supervision. Symoné was born and raised in the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection, Philadelphia, where she currently resides with her husband.
