Romeo Walker was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He grew up in Charm City until he decided to leave by joining the U.S Army. The U.S. Army took him across the pond. When he returned home, he wanted to avoid going back to Baltimore, so Romeo decided to make his life in the Deep South.

Romeo was always an avid reader. His favorite genre as a youth was fantasy. He avidly read Tolkien’s The Hobbit, The Lord of the Ring trilogies, and the DragonLance series by Margaret Weis and Tracey Hickman. Romeo started writing short stories in college, where a class in creative writing sparked his interest and love of writing. He would eventually take up writing short stories and poetry, with one of his short stories appearing in a Zane anthology.
