Golden Pearl Girls CEO/Founder M.D. Greer was born and raised in Detroit, MI. M.D. attended Osborn High School where she graduated in the top 10% of her class holding the offices of class vice president and vice president of her school's National Honor Society chapter.

M.D. attended Michigan State University after high school, where she first noticed she had a knack for writing. Before she knew it she was proofreading and helping fellow classmates with their writing assignments.
