E. Miann Bailey was born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina. She has a BS in Business and works as an accountant. She has a crafty side as well, and when she has time she makes hair bows and other things. 

 

She is also a single mom to an awesome son. Her son Jared is the inspiration behind her writing. The joys of motherhood and the comical acts and words of Jared are what sparked her to start writing children’s books many years ago, and she has several books just waiting to be published.
